Was it the correct decision for Schumi to donned his racing suit?

As the topic suggest... anyone here up for the discussion. If someone says it's too early in the season, well we have already got it down to a few races already.

If he return to F1 because he miss racing and simply don't mind losing, then my bet is he did the right thing but if he returns to F1 to win, that would take a whole lot of challenge since the sport and the race has change since he last race in 2006. Even during that time, he was soundly beaten by Alonso, it will be an Everest for him to climb to reclaim his lost glory.

maybe he's too bored @ home...tried all kinds of motor sports including the motoGP Ducati bike..yet it doesnt thrill him like he used to have..
maybe he's trying to hard to bring glory to Mercedes GP team as he had vast experience with Ferari before...
he should stick with Ferari as test driver as he had contract for life with them as senior consultant.

i think he past his time liao....should just let the youngblood race liao....just my 2 cents....

I'm having second thoughts on his return, he was somewhere around more than 30 seconds behind in Istanbul, Mark Webber and Seb Vettel, clashes and Mark Webber can still limped back to the pitstop to change his front wings and tire and still come out 7 secs ahead of Schumacher.

Looking at that race, they were saying that Ferrari is behind in the same league as Renault, IMO Ithink Schumi held them back and slow down the rest.

Perhaps you are right, whose else can come out retirement and earn in the Million$? Anyway, this year can excuse him, but if no improvement from him next year, that it la, total wash out!

he should play more charitable soccer as world cup 2010 is coming very soon..
