Formula 1 - 2010 season Empty Formula 1 - 2010 season

It's that time of the year again, the F1 is coming to town once again! This year will be something different, we have more teams on the grid and we also see names such as Mercedes GP, Lotus GP as well and best part we have 4 world champion competing and if Stefan GP got in and take on Vuillenue then we have 5 world champion competing in a season. This will be a crazy year. with refuelling banned, only tire change allowed and not forgetting a new FIA head, former Ferrari man Jean Todt replacing the controversial Max Mosley. Interesting enough who will be the winner this year?

Its possible to see Lotus bring glory but maybe not this year, they didn't do well during the winter testing. Managing the team is quite important, Malaysia boleh but lets see how they manage this year and if they are able to last the entire season without any financial problem to develope a better car next year.

We already see USF1 getting into way deeper than they possibly could, even then they can't get good sponsor as this sport is not a popular sport in the USA. It's a pity, US is an economic giant but they can't help their own home grown team in F1. As for Lotus, they main Principle is Fernandes from Air Asia, sponsorship is quite tied up for the airlines as they are in a deal with Williams this year and they can't even entice Petronas to sponsor them. Maybe they should just take this year forthe sake of being on the grid, but they should start to develope their next year car and once AirAsia deal with Williams is done, they have more financial resources for the team to being them glory.

The lull before the storm, confirm USF1 is off the grid for this year. They have ask FIA for them to deffer their entry till 2011... really sucks, their place should have gone to other interested parties..

More news:-

Campos racing is now known as Hispania Racing Team, a last minute ditch by team principal Meta Campos selling off his majority to another shareholder. Campos will still remain within the team, good news we will get to see a Senna racing this year, only other set back is that we don't know if they can get a car ready in less than 2 weeks time for the first race in Bahrain.

Renault has caught another sponsor, Russian car maker Lada.... that would be pretty interesting to see the Lada logo on the Renault team, but with globalization that would be pretty common as Renault has a share in the Russian car manufacturer. So now we see a tree way joint venture, Renault-Nissan-Lada can they be a force some where?

Another good news, the Hamiltons have split! Yup, both Snr and Jr are parting ways as Hamilton Snr will no longer be managing Jr's career. so anyone keen can apply for the position to LewisHamilton@mclaren.com

Another news on managing, Schumacher is promoting his spokeperson Sabine Kelme to his manager and he has move old time manager Willie Weber to manage his merchandising business. That's the reward for loyalty.

Finally, looking forward to the begining of the season on the weekend of 12-14 March for the first race of the season.

When you watch those kind of show, you must take it with a pinch of salt Very Happy Chop n chop, molded or "solded" but you have to take into consideration if this is a safe practise. Looks to me this is what you would do in one of those small alley workshops, no wonder the designer is from Bangladesh! Laughing If you trust their integrity I guess yup you can vote on it.
