I guess none of the regulars are on this set of tires. Base on the review for this China origin tires in Hot Stuff, the Westlake SV308 is classified as an Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires but surprisingly it also states that this is more for novice driver.

Both wet and dry grip are given as "good" but tire gets loud above 100km/h. The tread wear at 360 is also quite impressive.

So how much does this tire cost?

No thanks la, this tire has got harden side walls... reminds me of the nightmare Neuton.. anyway I downgrade my rims so that I could use affordable but reliable tires as well such as PP2 and etc... so I won't be giving this tire a try ... my next change will still be the PP2 or Eagle LS3000

Bro SS, this brand is relatively unknown. Tyres are impt, i wouldn't try tyres i know nothing of. My experience with Neuton tyres has taught me a lesson. I'll stick with my Goodyear anytime. For my next tyre change, estimated around June, might just stick to my current Goodyear or some better known brands but definitely not China or Indonesian made tyres. Life is too precious to risk the few $$ you might save on those.

Bro what tyres are you on now? The last time you were heading in the general direction of Federal performance tyres, any review don't forget to share.

I've jsut installed this to my car.. First 100Km so faraa so good.. noise level went down significantly compared to my Potenza 050, Dry grip a little down but improved wet weather performance....

pretty comfortable to ride with too.. up to 210km/h.. but on a safe and quite traffic free conditions.. pm me for further discussion.

Have never tried Federal though heard some good comments. Had a change of tyres in Sept just before Hari Raya. Was looking to get the Goodyear Hybrid II that i had but this one not in production anymore. I looked at other alternatives and searched the net for possibilities. Finally settled for Korean-brand Kumho KU31 UHP tyres. Prices for my 16" tyres very reasonable although it's made in Vietnam. So far so good, tyres quite grippy even on the wet. As i don't drive aggressively this set of tyres suit me well enough. It's W-rated so should be able to handle speed quite comfortably.
