Is my Captiva strong or.......
Last Saturday while driving my wife and daughter to attend art and craft lesson at East Coast Road, I met an accident along Marine Parade Road beisde Laguna Park.
The nissan driver was coming out from Laguna Park making a right turn toward Bedok while I was travelling on the outer lane heading toward Marine Parade. There was a vehicle parking on the inner lane which blocked her view. When she attempt to make a right turn, she did not notice my car was nearby thus, I hit her car and sway my ride to right confirmed there wasn't any vehicle from the opposite side of the road. My car run up the central divider, hit my left tyre and undercarriage.
The 1st thing i do was to ensure my wife and daughter were fine. My wife got out the car and ask me where I hit as there wasn't any dent on my dumper.( while I was applying hand break)
I got out the car, asked the nissan driver and the people inside the car any injury and luckily they were all fine. I got back my car and drove down the central divider and park along the road side in order not to jam up the road.
Once i parked, I saw the nissan bumper was ripped out, my car was fine exterior ( but my guy feeling was the undercarriage and left front tyre were be badly impact 'injury' )
We exchange each other particulars and went to our own way.
Here are some photos :

Change one or all four rims? Total damage how much you claim from the other party?

Good to know, for every claim will chalk out the figure which the GIA will use to justify the increase in your insurance policy every year. Every year we complaint about the increase instead of the decrease in the premium, as consumers we should be pro active and ask the workshop to justify the itemized bill, otherwise for something that can be done for $600 may end up $6000 for the other party. Even if our NCB is not affected, we should be responsible for the workshop claim for at the end of the day, the workshop owner may claim high profit for his personal gain while indirectly we are paying the bills as well when the GIA justify the overall increase of insurance premium. Either way we still loose.

This is what's happening... motorists pay high premium so when opportunity comes, then it's payback time.. Eventually, will translate to higher premium upon renewal. And the whole process plays all over again...

Re: Is my Captiva strong or.......
Bro, your parts not cheap hor
What kind of engine oil you using? At $33 per litre, this one must be super good coz engine oil change will cost you $132!
Spark plug must be careful, they have hot and cold plug must see which is suitable for your engine. Have considered using the Brisk plug but the price is a big turn off, nearly $200 for something like that... somehow felt the pain in the pockets!
