Lotus Resort

The going rate for weekdays damn cheap at RM184 for a one bed-room apt. That's about SGD 78 and its not far from home. To enjoy the cheaper rate must take leave, off, MC and whatever, otherwise if want to go on a weekend just pay extra SGD 15.00.

If it's a one day affair, then it okay. You checked in the hotel between 12 to 2 pm, then can make use of the hotel facilities such as swimming pool, gym or what ever and there's always the beach to enjoy. Evening time can go for the firefly tour, which would be very interesting for both young and old. Come back from the tour can have a group dinner then it's free and easy.
