Don't understand about this "underdeclared" stuff as never heard of such term. I'm surprised at your premium, so high. But then again we can expect future premiums to go up if you've read the papers lately. That's the reason for inflamed claims since you're already paying so much then might as well make some money with the claims. Suggest you shop around. I checked more than 10 insurance companies before deciding. Anyway, I'm currently with AXA, premium is $885, NCD 30%, excess $200 but only to authorised workshop. No "underdeclared" stuff or named drivers. Good luck...!

i think the unamed thing is the excess u have to pay for an unamed driver dat causes the accident...meaning u have to pay more den $600 excess if the driver is not named in ur insurance...just my 2 cents thought...i may be wrong...hehehe

Why don't you call the insurance company and bang table, state your argument that you have been with them since year 1 and last year you paid $900 and never claim before and this year they quote you so high even after 30% NCD this is ridiculous. Also mentioned to them how much NTUC is quoting them and if they cannot match or go lower then they will lose a long standing customer, see how they react. Keep us posted here.

The idea is to let them know that their rivals are offering less and they are losing customer.
