Budget 2011

So far good news, GE is around the corner but I have to give two thumbs up for the scrapping of the radio and TV license This means that we pay less by $27 when we renew the road tax, so those about to renew will benefit immediately.

For sometime now I have been pondering on why I have to pay for the TV license since I subscribe to Starhub cable for paid TV, did my research back then and somehow on the MDA site or somewhere that says bulk of the TV liccense collected goes to funding locally produce shows...well, no I'm glad they are scrapping it and feel more justified when I pay every month to SH.

As Tv programmes are readily avail on internet n paid subscriptions,its a good call by Govt to abolish the license.but surely they hv another agenda to impose after this.most prob nex year we will face the wrath.esp tHOse GST...haiZZzzzZ
