Parking charges

In my post on being a Singapore Tourist, I mentioned about the parking charges in Singapore. With the implementation of the ERP type of parking, it's really very convenience for motorist but I also notice that we are spending more money on parking. Least to mentioned, parking charges at attraction and those in town are super "EX", for example I paid $6 to park at the Esplande for the per entry after 6 before 10 pm, typically from my observation I'm topping up anywhere between $40 to $60 on my cash card every month and the ironical part, parking coupons purchase can last me anywhere between 2 months to 5 months So if we were to use coupons, as usual most motorist would just tear the coupon for 1 hour but may park anywhere between 2 to 3 hours, thus some saving. HDB and URA going ERP parking, this would mean that no more "tarik" on the parking time, so cost of parking is going up for the individual if you get what I mean.

dun say lor....juz kena "sumon" for parking a mere five mins after locking up the door..put a $0.50 kupon stating 15mins later time....damn...parking wardens...y dun u people find a work that people doesnt CURSE U aloud.

Tough luck bro, normally people "curi" 5 mins easy to explain about you having a watch faster by that time but 15 min?

No worries la, next time when everything goes ERP parking, they can retire all the parking wardens, save some trees by not printing coupons and summons.
