Meet-up before Ramadan

Ok guys, I know we have been here before but with not much success but I'm thinking that we should have a meet-up before the fasting month. Some sacrifice must be made to make this happen, therefore lets be proactive about this thing deviate from our norm. This is my proposal:-

Date : Any Weekend before August
Tiime: Lunch time
Place : Makan place, e.g. Gelang Patah seafood place or etc.

I'm thinking we do this without the family, just the guys and it's not necessary must be in JB, could be in Singapore or it could also be on a weekday, just that we must sit down for a proper meal.

As for the cost, we can always go Dutch if there is no kind soul to sponsor the lunch/dinner whatever. So let's make this happen and clear what ever calendar we have and set a date free for this event for once. So just don't keep quiet and sit on the fence.

Ther's not many weekends left. If we don't do this by next weekend, the following weekend will be start of Ramadan already. Let's make a decision and stick with it.

17-Jul Sunday - PL can't make it because got wedding, stoned can only make it for high tea
23-24 Jul Sat and Sun - SS69 outstation
30 Jul Sat - I can't make, got kenduri doa selamat

So let's have a rethink on this matter, if weekend not possible, we change it back to weekdays, dinner somewhere.

It's okay, I still went down to Lau Pa Sat but with the family for satay before the fasting month Favorite stall is No. 3/4, previously tried the Fat Man Satay, Stall No. 1 and regret going there. The satay is all finely minced like kebab style and when you dipped it in the sauce, the meat will slide down the stick Taste of the marinate was also not to my liking. Still prefer the chunky satay.

lau pa sat not like last time la bro...all the satay stalls very slack liao....ecp food centre now better den them...lol.....my fav is still at pasir panjang food stall.....u should try....hehehe

I'm out for this week... doing night shift unless someone want to volunteer to pick-me up after work then again this is also month end for me, so a bit busy ..
