Congrats.. Ya lah give more details lah. What model, lens, other accessories, $$. But this hobby very poisonous bro. you'll always want to get more lenses, better lenses... the list is endless. As for shoot, afraid won't be too soon cos of fasting month. In any case, bro ikon and i just has one last Sunday. Maybe good idea to get to know your camera first, read the manual, join clubsnap to learn more. We can do the practical anytime.. Once again enjoy your new toy!

Whoa can't wait to molest your 60D Anyway try an post some of the pictures taken.
I might just organize a quick photoshoot, it might just be a couple of hours since this is the fasting month, have a quickie street shoot or something, quite like the idea of walking the heritage trial... let's see how things work out.

Can go in any mode ..... it's your creativity, you may see in B&W, whereas some others may see it in full blown colors, that's the best part of photography, same subject but different approach from different individual, so there is no right or wrong.

nice...composition n moments of brilliance...its the photographer not the camera tt requires the skill.Ikon wrote:starstruck96 wrote:heritage trail best in B&W mode...?

Re: Between Nikon and Canon
Camera is just a tool, the photographer need the skill to use the tool. It's a combination, just like the difference in F1 cars, Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren are the tools, as a driver you will drive differently for every single cars due to their unique characteristic, it's the same here, Canon, Sony, Nikon has all got different characteristic although they are tools for taking photograph, so your skill will play a part here. If you are at the pro level, no matter what camera you'll make it work.

Learning curve not so bad, only major obstacle would be if you are doing post processing, you'll need to know a bit on image editing software.
