Operating System

Just wanna share this info with you guys. If you guys are wondering which operating system to use for your pc or labtop, you may want to forget about Windows Vista cause it uses to much resources such as memory for nothing, Now Microsoft is releasing a new OS called Windows 7. Especially for those who are on multiple processors example like core 2 duo and quad, users find an increase in their performance while running on windows 7.

Release already huh? Like that can look forward to learning a new OS all over again.

Not yet in SG.. shld be ard october if im not mistaken.. Unless you working in microsoft.. they straight away upgraded their workstation to windows 7.. cool.. looks like vista.. but works faster than vista..

ram upgraded in my laPPie...now to downgrade my VISTA to XP SP 3.
any drivers to drive me ard on this??

Tak boleh la bang, you can upgrade but you cannot downgrade. The only thing you can do is to save all your data elsewhere, then perform a reformat and reinstallation of the XP on your laptop. Otherwise all your .dll files will get mess up and crash your system.

If you want.. Wait for windows 7.. Den upgrade from vista to windows 7.. Coz what I heard is upgrading from XP to windows 7 is not that "smooth" compared to vista

i got a windows reminder to upgrade my existing vista to vista SP 2..
