Re: 2nd Series
After yesterday session, will need a rethink on the city walkabout. It was a bit taxing to do a walkabout during the fasting month. Tentatively, the Sunday slot is cancel and might be replaced either by a night shoot or another city walkabout next month.

Re: 2nd Series
I'm not keen on the Geylang Night shoot, primarily the place is crowded with people and it's difficult for noobs to shoot with tripod and all. Furthermore the light-up is nothing to crow about and if you are shooting people then it's okay but I'm not equip with a long-enough lens to do this, furthermore shooting crowd is a bit of invasive so I'm not keen on this idea.
My other suggestion would be the following:-
1. Marina Barrage
2. Esplande/MBS
3. Mount Faber
4. Sentosa Broadwallk
1 & 2 we have done that before, it would be more of a revisit.
3. Mount Faber if you get to the right location you are either shooting Sentosa or the CBD itself
4, Sentosa Broadwalk, never been there so don't know what kind of skyline we are looking at.
When, looks like it's either tonight or we need to arrange for this shoot later part of September.

Re: 2nd Series
How about either Sunrise or Sunset at Marina Barrage? We've been there for a night shoot, so how about this for a change? I know timing for Sunset, a bit tricky as you'll have to be there by at least 6pm to access best location, set up tripod etc. For Sunrise got to be there early also cos Sunrise is pretty fast. I'm not putting any time frame for the shootout as i know you guys are busy with Hari Raya prep etc. Let me have your thoughts..

I'm for Sunrise shoot.... sunset now a bit difficult during the fasting month.. if you guys are on for tomorrow let me know because this is the best time since I'm getting up at 5 am so will not be late for any sun rising

Re: 2nd Series
It was a last minute decision, anyway it was a bit disappointing due to the flat weather, anyway we got a bit creative and these are the result:-

Not only that, but the construction in progress also somewhat paint a not so scenic view ....

So we decide to go to the nearby MBS to salvage the day, but unfortunately we couldn't get to park the car due to some event at Marina Bay and roads are close, however we manage to spend a good half an hour on this instead...

Will be posting more of these gems later...

The fade away pic, is playing with the DOF (Depth of field). Shot open wide using the A-50mm.

Wah bro, now creative seh.. 3rd foto of sun with construction in foreground is good composition. Haven't posted mine as i felt all the fotos pretty hopeless. Anyway, will upload soon as been busy with Hari Raya and all that. Btw, someone mentioned Kranji Wetlands as a good foto possibility. I'm not so sure, perhaps need to google for more info.

Obviously la, this regular photo session has help to improve on my technique and skill The more regular, the better we all should get hopefully. Anyway Keranji Wetland, dunno if I'm well equip for this, no long lens and no macro...
Anyway I think the next one will be that Malacca photo trip that we are planning but never get to actually do it, must put some resolve to do this... there are special offers for 2 days 1 night trip for less than $100, may consider this and play tourist
